When B contacted me to book her mountain maternity & newborn sessions, she was barely pregnant. I didn't even know someone could be as on the ball as she was! I felt like we would wait forever for her sessions to come but time didn't let me down & soon enough it was time to do her maternity session.
After what felt like the longest winter ever, her mountain maternity session was scheduled for mid-April and it was finally promising to be some resemblance of Spring outside. I didn't need to wear my snow pants for this session, for the first time in months. The ice was starting to melt off the lakes, slowly but surely and I think it was +6 this day, basically summer to a Canadian! We had a blast doing this session and since these folks were from the mountains and lived in Banff, they were able to show me all their favourite secret spots to do their session at! We laughed, almost died on the highway together and created some magic that day!
Little Miss made a grand entrance a little early and I packed up my equipment to go to these clients in their home in the mountains. Talk about a peaceful session, surrounded by my favourite pieces of nature, Dad played a Beatles playlist while I worked and we chatted. It was so nice! She was such an easy girl for me, and just the cutest little thing.
I enjoyed getting to know this family and I hope to see them again in the future!
