So I've redesigned my newborn packages fresh for 2017. Previously I only had one package available for everyone and I wanted to be able to offer more than just one option for folks. I have spent a lot of time researching products and things that are most important to clients and I want to be able to offer something for everyone.

I realized though that some of the 'terms' in my package descriptions may be a little confusing to some so I thought I would break it down and make it super easy to understand!

What is a beanbag shot?
These are my favourite! The set up is done on a large beanbag specifically sold to newborn photographers (therefore, very expensive) for shots using mainly blankets or fabrics as a backdrop versus an actual paper or vinyl backdrop. The following photos are samples of what a setup of a beanbag pose looks like and what the photos generally look like.

What is a styled pose? (Also known as a basket pose or a prop pose)
These shots usually involve the babe in a container or basket of some kind.

Lifestyle Poses
Lifestyle poses are what bring newborns most to life, they show families and Mom's love and daddy's strength in images. I love them and they are so powerful.
